Field Trips
Come on a field trip to our farm!
Bring your students to our teaching farm for a hands-on two hour field trip. Students will meet our chickens, investigate plant lifecycles, and explore the insects living in our garden beds, all while meeting Nevada Academic Content Standards.
How to Get There
The Urban Teaching Farm is at 1700 East 2nd Street. Buses can drop off at our entrance on Gould Street and park in the empty parking lot across Gould. Mapping programs will send you to our office if you just enter "Urban Roots" so please make sure to share the street address with anyone driving on the field trip.
